KUTE project is calling for choreographers who will be offered the opportunity to create a new project with the dancers of SPECIFIC training centre for contemporary dancers, directed by Loris Petrillo. This year, the dancers come from India, Egypt, Germany, Croatia, Sweden, Brazil, Italy, Serbia, North Macedonia, Morocco, Mexico and Spain.
KUTE is a project by Loris Petrillo, organised with Anonima Teatri in NotAcademy, School of Art recognised by Lazio Region, in collaboration with Twain Centro di Produzione Danza.
The selected choreographers will work for a period of 5 days, from Monday to Friday, for a maximum of 5.5 hours per day, with one presentation scheduled for Friday of the same week, and one possible presentation in the SPECIFIC final performance, where the presence of the choreographer is not required.
The choreographers will be required to provide a 30/40-minute warm-up at the beginning of each day, followed by the creation of a new piece with a total duration between 8 and 10 minutes.
The creation will be held in a week between November 2026 and May 2027 (dates to be determined). Rehearsals and presentations will take place in Tuscania (province of Viterbo), Italy, at the Supercinema.
The call is for choreographers, minimum age 28, living in Italy or abroad, with proven experience as dancers in contemporary dance companies and at least one choreographic work completed.
Selected choreographers will receive a fee, accommodation, and travel expenses coverage.
