The Ameto Mítico residency aims to update the legacy of the Galician-Portuguese troubadour poetry characterised by the influence of provençal lyrics and others, like sufi poetry, that arrived in Galicia via Saint James Way pilgrimages.
Inspired by the routes shown in the book Arrodeos de Desvíos do Camiño de Santiago, the last book of poems by Uxío Novoneyra (a writer who was also a recognised moderniser of the troubadour poetry), the residency will take place from 16 September to 2 October 2022.
The organisers will take care of the hospitality expenses: transport, documentation, lodgings and food of the poets throughout the residences’ period.
