The Experimance Festival 2026 is looking for artistic contributions in the field of sound art. Applications are welcome from both solo artists and groups.
Since 2016, the Experimance Festival in Saarbrücken, Germany has provided a platform for unconventional types of music, as well as sound and performance art.
They are looking for contributions to the following:
- Exhibitions from 5–11 May in sound art in public space and large-scale sound installations/object and performances (there should be recurring performances throughout the festival with the installation and/or exhibited objects, approximately 6–8 performances or demonstrations)
- Concerts and performances in the field of sound art, with a focus on self-built instruments and unconventional sound sources
- Interactive workshops or educational talks on sound art and experimental music
- Experimental electronic music and live performances for the club night
Artists will receive financial compensation in the form of fees. Travel and transport costs can be reimbursed up to 150 EUR and accommodation will be provided by the festival.
